New Trader Application
Information
We want to do our best to make the application process as simple as
possible, while disclosing initial costs involved.
New traders submit all paperwork
with a check for $2000 to cover the fees detailed below. The fees generally
amount to between $700-$1200. The balance will be placed in the traders new
trading account. We will send out a complete application and contract when
you submit the Bright Trading Registration Request

Before we send
out a Bright Trading Registration Packet please acknowledge the fees below

New traders are required to send
in a check or wire funds to Bright Trading, LLC in the amount of $2,000.All
registration/licensing fees will be deducted from that amount. Details of the
specific fees are shown below. Any remaining balance will be applied to your
trading account or if you decide not to join the firm will be remitted back to
you upon written notice. Fees below are subject to change.
- Bright Trading, LLC-
$100.00 processing fee.
- Chicago Stock Exchange -
$500 if filed between January 1 through March 31
- $375 if filed between
April 1 through June 30
- $250 if filed between
July 1 through September 30
- $125 if filed between
October 1 through December 31
- FINRA (formally
known as the NASD) – $265.00 Series 7 Examination fee
- FINRA - $85 Web
CRD filing fee plus $95 for any disclosure page.
- FINRA - $30.50
Fingerprint processing fee
- The following states
require additional examinations:
- Series 63 in
Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas and Virginia; $96
fee.
- Series 55 in Missouri;
$80 fee.
- State Registration fee –
This only applies to traders in the following States:
- Colorado - $14
- Massachusetts - $75
- Maryland - $35
- Michigan - $65
- Missouri - $50
- Nebraska - $40
- Nevada - $110
- New Jersey - $60
- Tennessee - $50
- Texas - $235
- Utah - $50
- Virginia - $30

Before
choosing any Firm, and putting your own money OR valuable time at risk,
be sure to ask for this basic information:
1. Financial Statements (Don't
ever go into business with anyone who won't share their balance sheets
with you!).
2. Clearing Firm affiliations. Be sure that the Trading firm is
aligned with solid Clearing Firm(s).
3. Exchange memberships. Be sure that your chosen Firm is a
member of a Stock Exchange and has it's own Broker Dealer.
This is only common sense, and applies
to any business, whether you are trading or not. Know who you are
associated with! |
